Absolutely gorgeous vintage Italian musical jewelry box, handcrafted in Sorrento, Italy. These boxes are renowned for their intricate wood marquetry or inlay designs and floral patterns like the one on the lid. This beautiful jewelry music box has a lock and key that works The music box works and plays "For Elise".

It is more beautiful in person. Materials: Typically crafted from high-quality woods such as burl walnut, burl elm, or fruitwood, often finished with a high-gloss lacquer. Mechanism: Swiss musical movements by Reuge. Design: Sits on four gold-tone feet and includes a lock with a decorative key. Interior: The inside is lined with a soft material like velvet or velveteen with plenty of room for your jewelry or trinkets that you would like to lock away. Dimensions: Approximately 11" x 5.25" x 3.25. There is a very tiny ding as shown in photo. And a very, very light scratch as shown in photo.
