Beautiful Vintage Reuge Music Box. 72 note/3 song Reuge of Switzerland cylinder box. Inlaid wood box was made in Italy by Bernaghi. It features decorative panels on the top, front, both sides, and the back. An exceptional combination of beautifully decorative craftsmanship rarely found on these exquisite treasures! Box is 11"L x 6 1/2"W x 3 3/4H. Winder is on bottom of box. The song description tag is intact inside the lid listing 3 tunes of Hungarian Rhapsody.
Box exterior and all components are in excellent condition. Beautiful sound and unbelievable craftsmanship on the case itself. It features multiple miters and fancy joints, well concealed by the talented craftsman. A bit about the casemaker.
