Vintage Swiss Ch 2/50 Reuge Music Box Cigarette Case

VINTAGE SWISS REUGE MUSIC BOX: CUSTOM WOODEN JEWELRY/ CIGARETTE CASE - YouTube. CLASSIC VINTAGE FLORENTINE GOLD LEAFED MUSICAL CIGARETTE CASE. 2 TUNE 50 NOTE REUGE CHANGING MECHANISM. This is a classic gold leaf Italian cabinet made in Florence, Italy especially for REUGE of Sainte-Croix Switzerland.

It incorporates a superb REUGE CH 2-tune 50-note Swiss musical movement under glass. The box design & decoration is in a traditional classic Florentine style using a hand painted gold leaf embossed ribbon motif, (on a soft pastel blue background), in a unique crisst crossed design. The high gloss & polished lacquered wood interior, with storage compartments on either side of the musical movement was intended as a cigarette box. However, the 2 spacious storage compartments are ideal for holding jewelry or other keepsakes as well.
