This is a premium version of the classic #402 "Holiday in Switzerland" series, featuring a rare and detailed Rhododendron (Alpine Rose) botanical lithograph on the lid instead of the common mountain scenes. This piece features a verified 18-note in-house Reuge movement.

Unlike many souvenir boxes, the internal brass components are explicitly stamped "REUGE" and "STE - CROIX - Switzerland, " confirming it was manufactured at the historic factory in the Swiss Jura mountains.
