Vintage Reuge Solid Silver Miniature Music Box Musical Compact (watch The Video)

Vintage late 1940s/early 1950s solid silver musical compact case in outstanding cosmetic and mechanical condition. Retains its original beveled mirror. The silversmith work is exceptional on this diminutive music box and I doubt this was ever used as a compact with face powder. The case is solid 800 silver and appropriately marked as such.

I serviced the tiny Reuge music box so this works exactly as it should and you will not have any worries. The case measures approximately 75 x 47 x 15 mm at its widest points when closed and total weight is approximately 109 grams. Video will open in a new window.
