Video will open in a new window. A fantastic singing bird box crafted by Eschle in the 1960s. Reuge acquired Eschle in 1977 and that is how Reuge entered the singing bird box market.

Highly colorful bird and everything works perfectly. The original mechanical movement is also in excellent condition - fully serviced. This is a vintage piece and naturally has some minor wear and signs of use.

In summary, this is a fantastic antique singing bird box in amazing cosmetic and mechanical condition. I fully serviced (cleaned, adjusted, lubricated) the mechanical movement so this singing bird box operates perfectly.

The bird animates perfectly as follows: wings flap up/down, beak opens/closes, tail flutters up/down all the while singing to a beautiful oscillating bird song that is synchronized to the bird animation.
