Reuge acquired Eschle in 1977 and that is how Reuge entered the singing bird box market; the Eschle design was continued under the Reuge name. This is a gorgeous vintage Pre-Reuge singing bird box with a white and multicolor floral soft enamel finish and genuine malachite stones on each corner. The original bird is extremely colorful featuring iridescent red, green, blue and gold hummingbird feathers. Fully serviced and working perfectly.

In summary, this is a fantastic vintage singing bird box in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition with only minor signs of use, please zoom in on the photos. The bird animates perfectly as follows: wings flap up/down, beak opens/closes, tail flutters up/down all the while singing to a beautiful oscillating bird song that is synchronized to the bird animation.
