Vintage Reuge Italy Pasquale Capra Imports Inlaid Rosewood MUSIC BOX La Boheme

For your consideration is this vintage Reuge music box, a beautiful addition to any collection. Crafted in Italy by Reuge and imported by Pasquale Capra Company, it features a Swiss musical movement that plays the tune "La Bohème" on a rosewood body with an inlaid floral motif on top.

Advertisements for this type of music box begin appearing in newspapers around 1985 and suspect this piece to date to the mid to late 1980s. The box also comes with the original key and a jewelry compartment lined in red felt. Measuring 7.7 inches in length, 5.2 inches in width, and 2.6 inches in height, this handmade box weighs 1 lb 8.8 oz.

It is a perfect item for collectors of decorative collectibles and music boxes alike. Condition: The top screw allowing the box to lock has been re-adhered into the box as it was loose.
