Vintage Reuge Carousel Music Box Lipstick & Cigarette Holder

This vintage Swiss Reuge music box is just the coolest thing! It plays a tune of Dr. Zhivago, Lara's Theme, while the little doors open, turn around and slide into place showing the lipstick compartments.

Then the doors push out again, turn and close, leaving the alabaster clad outside. The box also has an alabaster base and top, there is a lyre on the inside of the music box and the top has an angel with a musical instrument. The mechanism is operated by a winding key in the bottom and a push button on the side of the piece. It is in good working order and has as only flaw a bit of looseness of the top angel.

Measurements are: diameter 6 1/2", overall height is 13 1/2". Because off the alabaster, this is a rather heavy piece.
