Vintage Reuge Ballroon Dancing Couple Celluloid. Music Box Under Dome

Floral pattern alongside the bottom of the box. There is a crack in the dome and also a crack on the bottom of the music box as shown. The crack doesn't interfere with the music. If you need any other pictures, please let me know.

The box has an on/off gold metal switch and a key to wind the box. The music plays without the dolls attached because I can't get them to stay up and don't want to try to fix something I'm not familiar with. When I turn the music on with the dolls in place, it only plays for about a second but without the dolls inserted, it plays very well. I'm hoping someone will be able to fix this so that it runs as it should. It belonged to my mother and I believe it is from the 1930s/40s. She had a beautiful room with a large display of things she loved and we always liked to sit in there with her as she showed them to us. The height of the celluloid box is about 2" x 4 1/2 " in diameter at the bottom. It measures about 6 to the dome on top. Thank you for looking at my listing.
