The dolls were hand made by Madame Marthe Phillaparte in Paris reflecting the costumes of 1760 dancers. The ballroom features beautiful floral wallpaper and a herringbone floor. 7.5x8.75 inch gold leaf frame. Excellent physical condition; exquisitely detailed; appears complete; the dancers move freely; the light bulb needs replaced; missing one of the wooden feet on the bottom of the box, a second is broken, but included.
