REUGE Swiss Musical Movement Triptych Virgin Mary And Child Ave Maria Gounod

This is a Reuge Swiss Musical Movement Florentine Triptych featuring the Virgin Mary and Child. The triptych has a gold-toned, ornate frame with side panels that can be opened to reveal the central image of the Virgin Mary holding the Child. The music mechanism plays tones of "Ave Maria" typical of Reuge's fine craftsmanship in musical mechanisms. This piece is designed as a tabletop, mantel or shelf display blending religious art with functional music box elements. Approximate Size: 9" T x 6 1/2" W(base).
