Reuge Romance Swiss Jewelry Music Box Italian Inlaid Wood Top Plays Edelweiss

Vintage Reuge Romance Swiss/Italian Music Box with 18 note movement, plays Edelweiss. Romance Swiss movements were made by Reuge to be used by cabinet makers in their own boxes while the Reuge named movements were only used in boxes made by Reuge. Movements are identical other than the name on them. This beautiful burl wood music box has a floral inlaid wood top and was made in Italy. The box measures 8 1/8" x 5 1/8". It is in excellent condition with only minor wear and a little dirty in the bottom as can be seen, it plays perfectly. Wonderful color, to me it's sort of a pinkish/reddish lavender.
