Reuge Outstanding Hand Inlayed Wood Interchangeable 5 Cylinder 50 Note Music Box

I offer up for sale, this Reuge Outstanding Hand Inlayed Wood Interchangeable 5 Cylinder 50 Note Music Box. This 5 cylinder Swiss Music Box, made by the famous Reuge music box makers, was made for the Franklin Mint in about 1985. The box is a lovely burled wood with Rosewood and Ebony inlay with banded trim.

It is highly polished to a fine finish! There is a mirror on the inside of the cover, doubling the magnificent look of the works inside!

The works are polished brass and it is 7 1/2" wide by 17" long and not quite 4 3/4 high. There are 5 interchangeable cylinders with 10 of the most wonderful airs from Vienna. The box has a serial number of 1728 out of only 2500 made. Thanks for viewing my item! Ships carefully packed and insured.
