This is a Reuge Interchangeable Cylinder Music Box. It measures approximately 17 inches long.

It was generally protected wrapped in storage. It would make a pretty nice display item. There are a few edge nicked chips in the coating. Two on the inside play area outer edge and a couple indented on the top lid rear edge. See last three photos above.

Some general surface wear otherwise. Operationally it winds up and I was able to play all five cylinders. The melody was nice but I did notice though the speed seemed slower than it should be.

The longer it ran the slower it sounded. This sat in storage for many years. So most likely needs some type of service to be back to original specs. Great for someone who is a fan of Reuge music boxes.
