REUGE German Music Trinket Box Coin Bank with BAMBI Silver Plated Vintage Rare

For your consideration is this lovely vintage Music Box Coin Bank from Germany. The lid and body is silver plate. The side of the lid is marked: "Made in West Germany". The lid just fits snuggly on top of the jar and can be locked on the side.

The musical movement is a swiss REUGE movement. The sound is bright and clear, and it plays very well. To wind it up, just turn BAMBI clockwise. Whenever you put a coin in the slot, the music will play the song "this old man" from the Nursery Rhymes. While the music is playing Bambi rotates. This music box bank is in great condition.

It is nicely polished and ready to gift. It is super rare, especially with lock and key. The only flaw is some glue residue inside, where the padding is missing. Just put a small piece of cloth of your choice in it.

Measures about 4 3/4 tall. The jar is 3 wide. Comes from a clean and smoke free home.
