This is a vintage Swiss made Reuge musical piece, Reuge model #2202, circa 1970. The piece depicts a couple engaged in a dance under the dome. The woman is wearing a yellow gown, while the gentleman is wearing a tuxedo with tails. The piece contains a Swiss made Reuge 1 tune 18 note musical movement. The musical movement has a play/ stop lever located on the base of the piece.
When wound and the musical movement is playing the couple will dance, and while dancing the couple will rise and fall as well as pirouette in both directions (see video). DIMENSIONS: 3-1/2" diameter x 5-1/4" tall.
