Rare Reuge Vintage Swiss Chalet Village Rotating Scene Musical Movement. Musical tune Around the World No. Made by Jobin of Switzerland, this very sweet Vintage Village of revolving Wooden Swiss Chalets, winds from the top (clockwise). It measures 8 3/4" square and stands about 5 1/2" high.

It's hand-painted with careful detail with the cows nicely carved. The roof of each of the five houses lifts to reveal a little compartment and there is one little man out for a stroll. Benches, Bolders and a Bridge dot the landscape. It is charming and in good condition. It also has (rarely seen these days) a wooden off/on - push /pull peg to stop the music without lifting it from its place.
