Music Box Wooden Swiss Music Box Holdrio Liebes Echo Vintage

This is a hand made and hand painted vintage wooden music box with working Swiss musical movement. It has German writing on the back, so I assume it is from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. It perfectly plays Holdrio Liebes Echo, a German song from 1950. You wind the key at the bottom, and the box plays music when the lid is opened and stops when closed. On the cover is a decoupage photograph of a street scene with people in clothing from the early 1970s, I believe. The sides of the box are decorated with burned etched areas and hand painted flowers.

Johannis burned into the wooden side on the front. What an exquisite music box! A lovely gift for someone very special and sentimental.
