Large Italian BURL Wood REUGE MUSIC BOX Hand Crft Inlay Jewelry Unchained Melody

STUNNING Made in Italy Hand Crafted BURL Wood Inlay REUGE Jewelry MUSIC BOX Plays "Unchained Melody" Vintage music box. The label on the underside headed "Romance" (The Romance company was acquired by Reuge) &also "Swiss Made by Reuge", also "Unchained Melody" Another label reads Made in italy.

The interior cylander works nicely but you cannot see it as it is covered up by the velvet box it is in. This Beautiful Box is inlaid marquetry burl walnut. The top depicts I believe a mandolin & 2 horns, leaves of music, and flowers. This case measures approximately 10 3/4" length x 6-1/4" wide x 2.75 high but is a bit higher due to the curved top.

The underside has a winding knob marked "Reuge Music" (all caps) a Spectacular & Beautiful fine Italian crafted wood inlay jewelry box (Made in Italy) & the music parts Swiss Made. Once the Box is wound - the movement plays Unchained Melody. Which is a favorite tune of many people. Beautiful floral design w a Mandolin inlaid design into a Gorgeous Burl wood Interior: Lined in an a Dark Brown velvet fabric, has gold hardware Box comes with its golden key & fringed end that adds to the beauty of the box. Bottom is footed with 4 gorgeous golden toned feet. Dimensions: 10 3/4"L x 6 1/4"W x 2.75" plus the feet are another 1/2".
