This is a rare and vintage 1985 Franklin Mint "The Johann Strauss Waltzes of Old Vienna" Music Box produced in limited edition, this being number 0526 of 2500. This Swiss-made, Reuge interchangeable cylinder music box is reminiscent of music boxes from the last century and is secured by a magnificent chest of burled walnut wood with rosewood inlays handmade by Swiss master craftsmen. Box has FIVE interchangeable cylinders, each playing TWO waltzes producing exquisite renderings of.

The condition of this box is extremely good, damage noted is normal lacquer hairline cracking (see photos) from age as this box is 41 years old. Slight fading of colored wood on dancing couple (see photos) featured on the lid. Oxidation on cylinders is noted (see photos) but no missing teeth and all work perfectly.
