This is a floral inlay music box made in Sorrento, Italy. As you can see in the images, it still faintly has the signature of the original Italian woodworker who created it. It is fitted with a Reuge 36 note musical movement, which plays "18th Variation on a Theme by Paganini" by Rachmaninoff. The music plays nicely, and a link is included below to listen to it. The outside of the box has a few scratches/cracks, and one ding, which can be seen in the two last images (the ding is circled in the last image).
