Unique Vintage Inlaid Lacquer Marquetry Wood and Brass Music Jewelry Box with metal feet. Stamp on the bottom: Weinmarkt Souvenirs Lucerne. Label under the lid reads Reuge Music. This music box has beautiful floral marquetry designs on the lid and on all four sides of the cabinet and each of these wooden pieces is framed with ornate brass trim. It includes a key to open the cabinet and an Allen wrench to unlock the mechanism. The music box plays 3 songs from operas: Casta Diva (La Norma) by G.
Bellini, Guillaume Tell Tyrolienne by G. Rossini and La Traviata by G. The approximate dimensions are: the Top measures 9 inches x 5 1/2 inches, Bottom measures 8 3/4 inches x 5 1/2 inches; Depth: 3 1/2 inches and with the feet included 4 inches. This music box is in very good condition with only two small nicks on the bottom of the cabinet by the winding mechanism.
