The movement is clean and shiny and it looks great. The mechanism winds up smoothly and the sound quality is terrific thanks to the solid, well-constructed box.

It switches between the songs perfectly and automatically. The music starts and stops (at song end) via the front slider button. This box plays a three-part arrangement of "Ave Maria, " with each section flowing naturally into the next. The arrangement is a famous pairing of Gounod's lyrical line floating above Bach's Prelude in C Major. It is calm, reverant, and beautifully moving.

As such, the tune is a favorite choice at weddings and worship. The wood case is in excellent condition.
