ERZGEBIRGE Ulbricht REUGE Wooden Music Box Noah's Ark Animals Germany Vintage

For your consideration is this lovely vintage Music Box from Germany. It is a unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted by the well-known Christian Ulbricht company. It features Noah's Ark with Noah and his wife and 4 sets of animals. When the music plays, the platform with the figurines rotates around the stationary ark.

A large rainbow frames the scene. The musical movement is a swiss REUGE movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: "Swan Lake and Waltz of the Flowers". To wind it up, just turn the key clockwise.

There is a working stopper on the side, too. The music box is in excellent condition, apart from a few hair lines on the sides of the rainbow.

He paint is in perfect condition and it. Please look at all pictures and zoom in. It measures about 9" tall and 8" wide.
