ERZGEBIRGE Ulbricht REUGE Christmas Music Box Saint Peter and Angel Wood Germany

For your consideration is this lovely vintage Christmas Music Box from Germany. It is a unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted by the well-known Christian Ulbricht company. It features Saint Peter as conductor and a musical angel on golden stars. When the music plays, the entire platform with the figurines and Christmas tree rotates. The musical movement is a swiss REUGE movement.

The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well. Süßer die Glocken nie klingen. To wind it up, just turn the key underneath clockwise. There is a working stopper on the side, too. The music box is in mint condition, apart from a tiny paint chip on his right hand.

The paint is bright and shiny. Please look at all pictures and zoom in. Marked with the Ulbricht label from that time period.

It measures 5 3/4" tall and about 4 1/2" wide. Comes from a clean and smoke free home.
