This is a vintage and antique Reuge musical mechanical automaton Victorian Lady playing piano. Her hands move over the keyboard as the music plays. This item has been professionally repaired and restored as follows. The woman has terracotta clay face and arms and there was some deterioration on the face which was repaired and repainted to match.

The painted face features are still very weak. Her hair is greyed from dust stains. There were some splits in the material on the dress which were folded over and tack glued. The dress color is yellowed and faded.

The window cover over the movement was enlarged and covered with a simulated suede material. The piano was cleaned and polished. One of the legs was re-glued and there is evidence of previous dings, scratches and stained area on the base.

On the bottom of the base is the metal stamp mark "Made in Switzerland". The musical movement has been fully serviced and is in proper working condition. The tune label on the bottom is the original and the one inside the lib is a modern reproduction. There is an on/off knob on the side near the base. Height at Head= 6.5.

Height at the piano= 5.25. Dimensions given at maximum points.
