Dancing Ballerina Music Box Automaton Rare To Find One Of A Kind Vintage music box Handmade by Louis Vuitton France. CIRCA 1950s The music box features a hand-made dancer who twirl and dance to the music. The dancer has Beautiful L. Hand made clothing The music box movement is made by Reuge and is stamped "Reuge Swiss" The music box itself is wood and has a glass dome.

Both have gold foil embellishments. The music box is wound from the bottom and then play itself out.

Music plays nicely and Dancer works wonderfully (please see the video to see it in action). Item is in excellent condition for its age. This is one of a kind Dancer very unique , offered by Louis Vuitton for a brief period of time in their Toy Department in Paris around 1950s. The toy department of Louis Vuitton was founded by Mrs.

Guston-Louis , Vuitton's wife had become personally involved in the founding of the toy department. The toy department endured until well after the move to Avenue Marceau in 1954.
