This is a vintage extra large locking musical jewelry box from Sorrento Specialties, circa the early 1970's. The Italian made hexagon box features a beautiful floral inlay with a burl walnut background with rosewood trim on all 6 unique baroque scalloped sides as well as on top of the lid. The box is lockable and comes with it's own old fashioned tassel key. The inside of the box is lined with red velvet and houses a Swiss made Reuge 1 tune 36 note musical mechanism, which is circa the late 1970's. DIMENSIONS: 12" wide x 10" length x 4 tall.
