Video will open in a new window. Reuge acquired Eschle in the mid 1970s and that is how they entered the singing bird box market. This bird box was crafted by Eschle in the 1960s.

The gold gilt case features a beautiful engraved design adorned with cabochons and a romance scene on the lid. The original bird is highly colorful. Overall, this 60 year old singing bird box is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. I fully serviced (cleaned, adjusted, lubricated) the mechanical movement so this singing bird box operates perfectly.

The bird animates perfectly as follows: wings flap up/down, beak opens/closes, tail flutters up/down, bird turns left/right all the while singing to a beautiful oscillating bird song that is synchronized to the bird animation. PLEASE EXPLORE MY OTHER LISTINGS.
