The original bird is highly colorful boasting iridescent yellow, blue, red, orange, /gold, and green hummingbird feathers. The lapis lazuli effect case finish is gorgeous and highly sought after.

The chased trim is gold gilt. Overall cosmetic and mechanical condition is excellent. In summary, this is an early example of one of Reuge's most desirable vintage singing bird box designs. I fully serviced (cleaned, adjusted, lubricated) the mechanical movement so this singing bird box operates perfectly.

The bird animates perfectly as follows: wings flap up/down, beak opens/closes, tail flutters up/down, bird turns left/right all the while singing to a beautiful oscillating bird song that is synchronized to the bird animation.
