Here we have a vintage dancing ballerina piece, circa the 1950's, which contains a Swiss made Reuge 1 tune 18 note musical movement. The winding lever for the musical mechanism is located on the bottom of the base of the piece, and there is a start/ stop lever located on the side of the base.

When the musical mechanism is playing the dancer's legs move and she dances around in circles (see video). The base of the piece is made of aluminum and the removable top is a hard plastic. DIMENSIONS: 5- 1/4" tall X 4- 1/4" diameter.
