Vintage 36-note Sorrento Inlay Music Box

36-note Romance Swiss movement that plays The Twelfth Of Never originally designed by Reuge. The sound quality of a 36-note far exceeds the regular 18-note Sankyo found in most common music boxes.

It is a very rich and delicate tone. Large 12 x 7 6 lbs Italian Sorrento inlay Music/jewelry box Made in Sorrento Italy. Pink velvet interior with two layer storage and opening to look at musical movement. Imperfections/damages are as follows (see last few photos) - one corner chipped on backside of box.

Small imperfection inside around border of velvet area This is a very rare and hard to find piece. Most boxes are not this large and do not have the double storage tray. I have looked extensively to find another like it and could not. This one was made in late 1990s. It has been in storage.
