A recent estate find for me... Quite a charming and impressive mechanism this vintage Swiss made music box is.. A REUGE Magique Miroir shadow box. It plays a Serenade by Haydn and a Minuet by Mozart. The movement functions perfectly both pairs of dancers and tunes perform as they should. Not sure of its exact vintage but I'm thinking the 1960's or 70's. Over all, it is quite good condition. The mirrored surface looks a bit more foggy grey like an etch-a-sketch than a regular mirror , I'm not sure if that's a flaw or if it was made to look this way, cosmetically it appears fine and works just fine the dancers perform just as they should and the tunes play out perfectly as well.
