CIRCA early1900s The music box features a hand-made dancer who twirls and dances to the music. The dancer has Beautiful hand made clothing by Louis Vuitton The music box movement is stamped The music box itself is wood and has a plastic dome.

Both have gold foil embellishments. The music box is wound from the bottom. Music plays nicely and Dancer works wonderfully Item is in excellent condition for its age.

This is one of a kind Dancer very unique , offered by Louis Vuitton for a brief period of time in their Toy Department in Paris. The toy department of Louis Vuitton was founded by Mrs. Guston-Louis , Vuitton's wife had become personally involved in the founding of the toy department.
