This 3 song 72 note dauphin glass/crystal Reuge music box has an extremely beautiful, rich tone with resonant base tones and vibrant treble notes and plays 3 parts from Mozarts Eine, Kleine, Nachtmusik: allegro, romance, and minuet. It has been fully cleaned and serviced and plays as it should.

It has been well taken care of and always kept in an enclosed display case. It plays Mozarts Eine, kleine Nachtmusik which is, in my opinion, one of the best selections/arrangements that Reuge ever produced in their 72 note movements. The glass case is in pristine condition. The brass feet are in the shape of actual dolphins (hence the name dauphin) instead of the more modern scroll foot.

The on/off switch on this case is the one found on earlier models and consists of a small brass rod which extends slightly out of the left side. To play, you simply push the lever very slightly in and down and the movement will play. To end the song at the end of the cylinder rotation, touch the lever so it moves slightly up. It is a very subtle on/of motion and does not detract at all from the glass case. The box measures approximately 9 1/4 x 5 1/2 x 2 1/2 tall.
