ERZGEBIRGE Christmas Music Box Richard Glaesser Carved Wood ANGELS Germany REUGE

For your consideration is this beautiful Christmas Music Box from Germany. It is an unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted. It features 6 little angels working around the Christmas Tree.

This beautiful music box was made by the Richard Glaesser company in the Erzgebirge region. The musical movement is a Romance (Reuge) movement, which works great. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: "Oh Tannenbaum".

To wind it up, just turn the key underneath clockwise. When the music is playing, the entire platform with the angels and the tree rotates. There is a working stopper on the side. This piece is in excellent condition, it looks like new. The colours are bright and shiny.

The only issue is, that one angel is missing. Please look at all pictures and zoom in.

Marked with the RG label and the Romance label underneath. Also has a RG tag. Measures 7" tall and 6" wide.
