The ORIGINAL KEY for locking and unlocking the music box IS INCLUDED. This music/jewelry box is footed and has a Switzerland movement and plays Dr.

The winding key for the Swiss movement is on the bottom of the music box and plays while the lid is open. Please review the photos as they are part of the description. This is a beautiful medium sized music/jewelry box.
